Rammer Jammer! Crimson Tide Hold On To Defeat LSU 20-13

Rammer Jammer, Yellow Hammer...

#5 Alabama took a 17-3 lead into halftime and held on to defeat the #4 LSU Tigers 20-13 in Baton Rouge. LSU has hurt by three INTs but after recovering a late onside kick, still had an opportunity to tie the game at the end. it was a classic SEC battle and both teams' defensive units will be sore this morning.

Alabama all but locks up the SEC West title and puts itself in position to play for the national championship if it can win out, which would include defeating current #1 Boise State in a few weeks and the SEC East Champion in the conference title game.

LSU likely won't fall out of the Top 10 and could still find itself playing in a BCS Bowl Game at season's end.

It was a great win for the Crimson Tide, and it certainly made this fan a happy camper:

Here is an update on the current BCS Standings (heading into Week 10)
1. (tie) Boise State
1. (tie) Ohio State
3. Virginia Tech
4. LSU (before its loss to Alabama)
5. Alabama
6. Oklahoma
16. Oregon
19. North Carolina
