Cold, Snowy Weather Hits RUTS As Teams Roll in Week 11

Snowstorms blanketed much of the country (apparently) in Week 11, as the equipment managers for each team had to work overtime to pull out all the long sleeve under armor and parkas. Heavy snow and cold temperatures didn't stop the RUTS teams from steamrolling through their opponents. One team that has been on a roll lately are the North Carolina Tarheels. The #16 Tarheels have quietly reeled off 6 wins in a row, and with back to back user games coming up against Tennessee and Miami, the Heels, who have already clinched the SEC East title, have a chance to move into the Top 10 before playing Alabama in the SEC Title game. The Tarheels have used a stellar running game and a dominant defense during their winning streak, and Coach ChrisHicks21 gives much of the credit to his teams new uniform combinations, which have added energy to his team and given them the spark they needed.

Week 12 provides some big matchups. Including #1 Boise State traveling to Bryant Denney Stadium to face off against #4 Alabama. The Tide hope to crush the Broncos' dream of playing in the BCS title game.

In addition, the Volunteers of Tennessee travel to Chapel Hill to battle the Tarheels. In what could be a huge game for both programs, the Vols will look to build on the great success they've had recruiting this season (currently the #4 ranked class according to Rivals) and get a big win on the road, while UNC will look to keep their momentum going as they head toward the showdown with Alabama in the SEC title game in a few weeks.

In a potential trap game, the #6 Oklahoma Sooners travel to Miami to battle the Hurricanes. Miami's record is deceiving, and we look for the Canes to give the Sooners a fight. If Miami can run the football withe consistent success, the Sooners may be in for a fight to the finish!
