Game Highlights:

1. Jarrett Lee hits WR Marcus Medlock for a 58 yard TD, and the Tigers lead 10-0 in the 2nd Qtr.


2. With LSU leading 16-3 midway in the 3rd Qtr., Gator RB Jeffrey Demps breaks away for a 70 yard TD run to cut the Tiger lead to 16-10.


3. LSU seemingly had a commanding 31-10 at the start of the 4th Qtr., but Gator QB Carlos Phillips catches LSU SS Harry Coleman out of position, and hits Deonte Thompson for a 63 yard TD strike. LSU leads 31-17.


4. Just a few plays later, Jarrett Lee makes his only big mistake of the game. Gator OLB L. Edwards steps in front of Lee's pass. A few plays later the Gators score and cut the LSu lead to 31-24 with 4:50 remaining.

5. On the following drive, LSU faces a crucial 4th and 5 at the Florida 47 yard line with around 3 minutes to play. Always the riverboat gambler, coach UTVOL54 sends CB Jai Eugene. Eugene looks to pass, but decides to scramble for a 22 yard gain and a Tiger 1st down. LSU would score again to cap the scoring at 38-24.
