The free agent bidding deadline set for tonight at midnight, and starting tomorrow morning, RUTS coaches will be notified of which free agents will be joining their respective rosters. The final pieces of the puzzle will be coming together for the 7 RUTS teams, in hopes that each has what it takes to make a run at the Super Bowl.
Week 1 games start next Sunday, August 29, and you'll have until Wednesday night to play your Week 1 game. Each week's schedule will be posted on the right side of the blog. Week 1 is headlined with 1 user/user game, a huge opener between the Titans and the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Terrible Towels will be waving in full force for this game, which kicks off the 2009 season. Two RUTS teams, the Pats and the San Deee-A-Go Super Chargers, are featured in the Monday Night Football double-header in week 1.
In related news, Chick Fil-A has won in a landslide and will be the official sponsor of the RUTS 2 Online Dynasty. This means that Coach StuBucksman will be given free "Chick-Fil-A Sauce Milkshakes" for a full year.
